Taquitos Tuk Tuk at Nacion Sushi: crisp shells filled and stood upright on a white plate

The verdict

A forty-page menu spanning half of Asia, portions bigger than they look, and one plate we ordered twice.

Two girls in the mall told us to come here and they were right. The menu is enormous - Japanese through Thai and Vietnamese, over forty pages on a QR code - and it took us fifteen to twenty minutes to choose.

Everything arrived well spaced and the bill was reasonable for the size of the plates. We have been more than once and over-ordered every time, which is the menu's fault more than ours.

Skip if

  • You want to decide quickly. The menu runs past forty pages and took us the better part of twenty minutes.
  • You are ordering by instinct. Portions are bigger than they read, and we have over-ordered here every time.

Would we go back? Yes, and we already have. There is a great deal of menu left.

The visit

Taquitos Tuk Tuk at Nacion Sushi: crisp shells filled and stood upright on a white plate

The Taquitos Tuk Tuk are why you come back

Crisp shells, stood upright and filled. The best thing we ate on the first visit, and the first thing we ordered on the second.

Tuna onigiri at Nacion Sushi, two sesame-crusted rice triangles with a dipping sauce

Tuna onigiri to start

Two sesame-crusted rice triangles with a sauce to dip. Basic, but good, and the first thing to reach the table.

The Amor Disco roll at Nacion Sushi, a long sliced roll topped with crisp strands on a white plate

The Amor Disco roll came last

A long roll under crisp strands. Good, and by the time it arrived we already knew we had ordered too much.

Pork baos at Nacion Sushi, filled steamed buns topped with sprouts

The baos went home with us

Filled steamed buns under sprouts. We were too full to finish them, which tells you more about the portions than about the baos.

Thai edamame at Nacion Sushi, served in a white bowl with a wedge of lime

Thai edamame, on the Thai side of the menu

One of the plates that makes the point about the range here. The menu runs well past sushi.
